The helmet was found in Stalingrad, in a place called Orlovka. The helmet was found in the trench, at the forefront of the defense, the Grenadiers of the 16th Panzer Division. The helmet has sand camouflage, perhaps the soldier was transferred to Stalingrad, from the African Corps.
