Infantry Assault Badge was found during digging near city of Baltiysk (former Pillau). In one place was found 2 Infantry Assault Badge and 1 Iron cross 1 class. They were wrapped in a rag and lying inside a tin can. Most likely the rewards were hidden in the retreat of German army
