Waffen SS helmet M40 / from Demyansk

SS helmet, was found in the attic of a house in Demyansk, and most likely belonged to a soldier from the SS Division Totenkopf. The helmet was discovered in 1992 and was in a private collection. The helmet in everything is absolutely original, has a double front color. The decal is painted over by a soldier, and only a part of it is visible. Helmet size Q64. Fine heavy helmet from the Eastern Front.
