Soviet helmet SSh40 / from Demyansk

This SSh40 helmet was found in Demyansk together with a soldier. The soldier is buried at the memorial cemetery in Demyansk. The helmet was on the soldier when he was found. Hair is visible in the inside of the helmet. The soldier died from the explosion of a mine or a shell; damage from a shrapnel is visible on the helmet.
