Waffen SS helmet M40 / from Smolensk

A size 66 ss helmet with a shrapnel hit in the back of the head. The helmet was found a couple of years ago in the Sychevsky district of the Smolensk region during the battles of the reconnaissance division of the SS Reich division in January 1942 .
